As the Japan National Sales Manager, you will have responsibility for sales growth through leadership, direct engagement, building a direct sales team and management of appropriate channels to complement. You should have an in-depth knowledge of Signal Generators and/or Quantum Physics markets, the customer base, products, competition and have a hunter like attitude, striving to win. You should have a good background in sales management, be able to set sales goals, and track progress through effective funnel management and have a working knowledge in Salesforce. You will also be expected to provide training, sales leadership coaching and build direct technical relationships with key customers. Every action you take and how you lead and manage in this role will have a direct positive impact on the business.

In this role, you will be asked to:

- Driving go-to-market strategy for the region.
- Develop & execute a regional sales plan.
- Develop and track sales quotas across channels (metrics-driven leadership)
- Manage the regional funnel.
- Always be prospecting.
- Ensure consistent accuracy on weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecasts.
- Develop strategic customer relationships in the region.
- Always drive for maximum channel mindshare.
- Build a high-performance sales team and create a place people want to work.

The successful candidate will possess the following combination of education and experience:

- Degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
- At least five years’ experience in sales leadership.
- Multiple channel experience and deep knowledge on how to get the most out of all sales channels.
- Strong executive communication and presence.
- Multiple years of exceeding quota – and know why and what your contribution was.
- Experience in growing a sales team.
- Blackbelt in CRM (Salesforce preferred).

- Ability to convincingly sell concepts and ideas.
- Be able to communicate customer needs at both the engineering level and management level (externally and internally).
- Self-starting, results driven combined with excellent time management is required.
