Control and Programming

Designed for flexibility, Tabor’s Lucid-X utilizes industry-standard SCPI and GP-IB architecture to ensure seamless remote control for programming, you can easily integrate the unit using Python, MATLAB, C#/C++, or NI tools like LabVIEW or even HP Basic! For added convenience, the included virtual front panel provides an intuitive graphical interface for control locally or across your network.

Analog and Pulse Modulation

What makes the Lucid-X family of signal generators stand out is its analog modulation capability. It is equipped with built-in AM, FM, PM, and Sweep modulation features, allowing for versatile signal simulation required in analog communication systems. Specifically, it offers Frequency Modulation (FM) with maximum deviations up to 10 MHz and rates up to 1 MHz, Amplitude Modulation (AM) with linear depth up to 90% and rates up to 100 kHz, and Phase Modulation (PM) with a peak deviation of 360 degrees. Additionally, the instrument supports outstanding Pulse Modulation with a high on/off ratio (typically 80dB) and extremely fast rise/fall times of less than 10 ns, ensuring precision for radar and electronic warfare applications.
