Do you know what it takes to make a Quantum Experiment successful, are you interested in learning about Radar or Electronic warfare, or want to learn about advanced wireless communications? We are looking for a Scientist or Engineer to join our Quantum Measurements team – you will be expected to work with customers closely on solving their problems, often on-site ensuring experiment/system success – then take your learnings and publish applications notes, present webinars, and seminars and give papers at trade-shows. You will also need to influence product management and the engineering team. A good knowledge of RF and Microwave theory, some experience with test equipment, and be able to program instrumentation using one of the following languages - MATLAB, Python, or LabView. In this role, you will be asked to :
- Provide technical support as part of pre and post-sales activities.
- Identify, evaluate, and recommend market opportunities consistent with company growth goals.
- Investigate and understand competitors and how to sell against them.
- Provide training externally to customers and internally to sales support functions.
- Build a network of customers.
- Present and articulate technology solutions to customers
- Provide highly technical engineering support to customers.
- Develop customer-specific solutions to complex application problems.
- Fully understand the Tabor product value and target markets.

The successful candidate will possess the following combination of education and experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in experimental physics
- Proficiency with test and measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes, digitizers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators and arbitrary waveform generators.
- Programming ability a plus, including Python, Visual Studio, LabView, etc.
- BS/MSEE/PHD in Electrical Engineering or Physics or equivalent.
- MBA a plus

The successful candidate will also be able to demonstrate the following:
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to convincingly sell concepts and ideas.
- Be able to communicate technology concepts at both the engineering level and management level. (externally and internally)
- Grow the business through prospecting.
- This is largely an unsupervised role so self-starting combined with good time management is required.
- Successful experience in a customer-focused environment.
