January 2021 Nesher, Israel – Tabor Electronics names Boaz Agur as its new COO, just 6 months after announcing Mark Elo as its first VP since Ron Glazer was named CEO. The announcement is a direct result of Tabor’s continuous growth and increasing demand for its two recent product lines launches - the All-New Lucid and Proteus series.
Boaz, who joined Tabor only two years ago, as its Operation & Supply Chain Director, served as a key player in Tabor’s endeavor to meet the increasing demand for its new product lines, while maintaining flowless supply chain and customers’ support, during the ongoing challenging COVID-19 pandemic period.
Boaz has over 23 years’ experience in the High-Tech industry, from R&D engineer, through various management positions in R&D, worldwide technical support, manufacturing, and operations. During his career, Boaz gained extensive experience in operations in various companies, both in the high-tech and the industrial sectors, with products of a multidisciplinary nature, emphasizing uncompromising quality issues, JUST IN TIME & LEAN production and various manufacturing and collaborative areas. Prior joining Tabor Boaz held similar positions at Shenpaz and Gidel. Boaz holds academic degrees in Electrical & Business Management.
