Job Description

Final testing of electronic systems and boards, including component-level electronic repairs. The candidate will play a critical role in ensuring product quality and functionality through a variety of engineering tasks, including the development of test programs for company products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Final Test Department, developing work plans, managing resources, and driving employee performance and customer delivery commitments.
  • Oversee final testing activities for electronic systems and circuit boards, and supervise complex electronic troubleshooting and component-level repairs.
  • Lead the development of advanced test programs for new products and implement automation solutions to improve the efficiency, repeatability, and accuracy of testing activities.
  • Ensure compliance with rigorous testing standards, quality requirements, and customer specifications, while managing test equipment calibration and technical documentation.
  • Provide advanced engineering support and technical assistance to customers, leading complex field failure investigations and RMA (Return Material Authorization) processes.
  • Review and approve technical hardware and software changes, and support product quality initiatives alongside corrective and preventive actions.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in electronics, testing, troubleshooting, and component-level repair of electronic boards and systems.
  • Minimum 5 years of proven management experience leading teams or departments within the electronics industry (Laboratory management experience – a significant advantage).
  • B.Sc. in Electronics Engineering or Practical Electronics Engineering (Specialization or experience in RF systems – a significant advantage).
  • Extensive knowledge of electronic hardware, RF systems, analog and digital electronics, and electronic system architecture.
  • Proven experience in developing automated test solutions, writing test procedures, and maintaining automated programs.
  • Strong ability to diagnose complex technical failures and accurately read/interpret engineering schematics and technical drawings.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with electronic test and measurement equipment and validation processes.
  • Proficiency in programming languages (Python, C++), engineering design tools (OrCAD), Microsoft Office, and ERP systems (with emphasis on Priority ERP).
  • Strong leadership, decision-making under pressure, and strategic system-oriented thinking.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate employees and work effectively across multiple functions and with external customers.
  • Fluent Hebrew and English (reading, writing, and speaking); additional languages – an advantage.
